Here at Shopsmith, our mailbox is constantly stuffed with great letters from Shopsmith Power Tool Owners, talking about how they use their tools and what they think about them. Missouri owner appreciates good Customer Service

K. Rhoads of Cedar Creek, MO writes...
“Several months ago, I purchased a special drill bit from you folks and recently managed to break it during use. When I called your toll-free number to see if there was any kind of warranty, your representative just called-up my order on her computer, and without any questions whatsoever, simply said....“Yes it is. We'll ship you out a new one right away.” I wasn't even asked to return the broken one!

Only two days later (and the day before Christmas, I might add), the local delivery service brought it to my door. You had shipped it air freight and next-day truck. I am both amazed and extremely appreciative of this kind of customer service. You've won a loyal customer...and I'll spread the word.

“...my children and I bought a Shopsmith MARK V as a surprise for my husband. Let me tell you, it was a real surprise for him. My husband started putting everything together and every piece of equipment...nuts, bolts, screws and whatever...he was so amazed that everything lined-up. He constantly said...I have never seen such precision all my life. Everything is just perfect!

I'd like to add that the first shipment we received from Shopsmith included boxes that had been broken or torn in shipment. The driver talked me into accepting them and when my husband came home, he had a fit! He immediately called your offices, afraid that we weren't going to get satisfaction. You see, we're New Yorkers, and in no way would we get the kinds of courtesy, kindness and efficiency that we got from all the girls working for Shopsmith. In fact, I told one of the girls on the phone that I really wish I could move to Ohio! HA!

Needless to say, our replacement shipment arrived promptly. Words cannot express our feelings for the Shopsmith girls who helped us through this problem. Many, many thanks to all of you from my husband and I.
